GCS high security external siren units

		The GCS high security SAS (self activating siren) has a number of features not found on other siren units. As can be seen from the inset picture the electronics are sealed behind a plastic cover, protected against dampness etc. At the top of the picture is one of the anti-tamper switches.
	Top left shows the rechargeable backup battery and below the peizo sounders.

	The external siren unit has a 3mm thick galvanised steel back plate and front cover, there is a second anti-tamper switch protruding through the back plate which makes contact with the wall. When the front plate is fitted all the electronics and wiring are completely covered making the unit tamper proof and foam resistant.

	Finally the polycarbonate front cover is fitted, the fixing screw operates the internal anti-tamper switch. Fitted on the lower corners of the cover are two high powered blue flashing strobe lights, which activate when the alarm system is triggered. Also within these blue lenses are low powered LED's which constantly flash giving visual indication of a live system.
