Basic RedCARE Classic is a secure alarm network which uses a standard BT telephone line, the line is monitored 24 hours a day 365 days a year, and can detect if the line is cut or in fault. This system does not need a dedicated alarm line as it does not interfere with the normal working of the telephone. Should the line be cut the Monitoring Station would detect this and contact key holders.

NEW!! RedCARE GSM is a dual path signalling system which uses both the BT telephone line and the BT cellnet system, in the event of the telephone line going faulty or being deliberately cut, the alarm system can still be monitored by the GSM unit, providing higher security and lower risk of being compromised. Ideal for systems where PA's (Personal Attack Buttons) are essential. This system complies with the new ACPO policy for Police response in verified systems, it also complies fully with the new European standard EN 50313 |

![]() The dualcom system is similar to the BT GSM as it uses a Radio signal similar to that of a mobile phone to communicate with the Central Station. The main difference is it uses radio as a primary method of signaling, as it is much faster than a telephone line, typically 3 seconds. It also uses the BT line as a back up if the radio were to fail and vice versa the radio system reports if the phone line is cut. the advantage with the DualCom it can be used as a single channel unit in situations where there are no telephone lines. |
